I was born in Eastbourne, Sussex and trained in Illustration at Bournemouth College of Art. I worked for publishers and designers in London illustrating books and magazines, greetings cards, advertisements and packaging. I started to exhibit paintings from travels in India and the Mediterrean and won the Art for Youth prize in 1994. I was part of a Skylark gallery on the South Bank. My work has been exhibited around London and the UK, the US and Greece and is now in private collections worldwide. I am inspired by nature, the seaside and cats and enjoy using different mediums including watercolour, oils, acrylics and lino printmaking.
I now specialise in cat paintings and have been accepted into the Society of feline artists in the UK.
Good Morning or Kalimera from the Island of Aegina in Greece. I have just came across your Facebook page and I’m absolutely overjoyed by your images of lovely cats. I live in Scotland but spend many weeks ( as many as possible given Brexit) on Aegina and am heavily involved in the catch ,neuter , release initiatives on the island.
I’ll definitely by buying a print to hang on my Greek living room wall.
Hi Mary.
As you see my name is Tom Davey and i have been researching my family tree for many years. My immediate ancestors were born and bred in Hastings and the surrounding areas and I have found a Davey ancestor married into the Stubberfield family, who were boatbuilders and owned a boatyard in Hastings, any possible distant relation?
Please contact me either way.
Kind regards
Tom.
I like your art…our mutual friend Yvonne highlighted you on Friend Feed.
